Halfway point on this video confirms what I thought and said in the BITS post-game show....weakside was wide open. Marquette sold out on stopping TKR, Braden and Loyer on the primary side of ball screen action. Meanwhile, backside, especially when properly sealed, was wide open. We needed to hit that more. Its tough, TKR was 7-10 but with how much attention he and Braden made, we needed to find looks elsewhere. Colvin and Cox maybe needed more minutes on weakside of action.

Fletch had lots of good looks from deep, both in transition and in scramble / rotation, and he opted to dribble drive rim attack instead. He has got to be focused on taking EVERY single good look from 3 that he gets. Yes, attack close-outs when they are in position and coming hard, but when he has any space he has to pull the trigger. I think he could have gotten minimum 6 more good looks from 3 instead of 6 empty possessions.

12:13 timestamp. Joplin egregiously travels. They called TKR for a "gather travel" which was, imo, completely legal, in the first half when TKR was struggling to get going. The ref cannot miss this one. Huge moment.
