With updates to how college sports will work, each basketball team will have 15 scholarships starting in the 2025-26 season. Here are the scholarship charts for all 18 Big Ten teams (sorted alphabetically).
I will update as often as applicable, generally once recruits and transfers are put into Verbal Commits system.
NOTES
For the 2025 offseason, there is a 15 roster spot maximum being put into place. This will affect walk-ons the most. I suspect teams will still carry 1-2 walk-ons, but walk-ons and scholarship players count the same towards the 15 player maximum.
If anyone finds an update, feel free to comment what I need to update.
Year of eligibility is based on the start of the 2025-26 season
Finding out which walk-ons are staying will be interesting, since they count toward the 15 player limit. If anyone knows walk-ons that are for sure staying, let me know.

Illinois
NOTES
Ben Humrichous could come back if he wanted to. Brad Underwood has said he wants him back, and Humrichous did not enter the portal that I’m aware of. This means he either is done with college basketball or back at Illinois.
I do not know exactly what eligibility the NCAA will give Mihalo Petrovic. He is a 22 year old that has played multiple years of professional basketball. My guess is he will either be a junior or senior.
Indiana
NOTE
Luke Goode could potentially get a waiver for a 5th year
Iowa
Maryland
Michigan
Michigan State
Minnesota
NOTES
I believe Erick Reader has been confirmed as a walk-on but I am not 1000% certain
Nebraska
Northwestern
Ohio State
Oregon
Oleksandr Kobzystyi could potentially have more eligibility if a waiver gets approved
Nate Bittle is testing the NBA Draft waters, and it seems 50/50 on if he returns to college or not. If he does return, it will be to Oregon.
Penn State
Yanic Niederhauser is testing the NBA Drafter waters, and it seems 50/50 on if he returns to college or not. If he does return, it will be to Penn State.
